Bundles Overview

Video Tutorial

Bundle Product Management:

Bundles allow the sale of multiple products together or single products in larger quantities. A bundle consists of one or more component products. When an order containing a bundle item is received, each component of the bundle becomes its own order item, with quantities specified.

Creating Bundles:

To create a bundle, start by adding the component products. Navigate to the bundle product, access the components tab, and add the desired products. Adjust the quantity of each component to match the bundle's specifications.

Order Processing:

When an order is placed for a bundle, each component product is added individually to the order, with quantities adjusted based on the bundle's specifications. For example, if a customer orders a quantity of 2 for a 4-pack bundle, the system adds 8 of the component product to the order.

Bundle Restrictions:

Bundles cannot store inventory and cannot be part of another bundle. Additionally, a product with inventory cannot have components added until its inventory is cleared.

Managing Bundle Products:

Navigate to the product info tab to view bundles and their associated orders. On the component product page, note the new Bundles tab, listing all bundles the product is a component of. The Orders tab displays any outstanding orders containing the product directly or as part of a bundle.
