Why Isn't My Tote Showing Up for Picking?

If your tote isn’t appearing in the tote list during a picking session, it’s usually due to one of two reasons:

Reason 1: The Tote is Already Assigned to an Order

Here’s how to check and resolve this:

  1. Go to Warehouses > Totes.
  2. Check the Assignment History for the tote in question.
  3. If the tote is assigned to an order, it will show the order number and timestamp.
  4. Go to Start Shipping and find the order the tote is assigned to.
  5. Reset the Order to cancel the pick session (this won’t remove the inventory from the tote, it just cancels the session).
  6. Confirm the reset.

Reason 2: The Tote Already Contains Inventory

If a tote has leftover inventory from a previous session, it won’t be available for new picking.

  1. Go to Inventory and search for the tote.
  2. If the tote has inventory, select it and move the inventory to a new location.
  3. Once the tote is empty, it will become available for picking again.
