Why Isn't My Tote Showing Up for Picking?
If your tote isn’t appearing in the tote list during a picking session, it’s usually due to one of two reasons:
Reason 1: The Tote is Already Assigned to an Order
Here’s how to check and resolve this:
- Go to Warehouses > Totes.
- Check the Assignment History for the tote in question.
- If the tote is assigned to an order, it will show the order number and timestamp.
- Go to Start Shipping and find the order the tote is assigned to.
- Reset the Order to cancel the pick session (this won’t remove the inventory from the tote, it just cancels the session).
- Confirm the reset.
Reason 2: The Tote Already Contains Inventory
If a tote has leftover inventory from a previous session, it won’t be available for new picking.
- Go to Inventory and search for the tote.
- If the tote has inventory, select it and move the inventory to a new location.
- Once the tote is empty, it will become available for picking again.
