Warehance Weekly

August 22th, 2025 | Edition 4

This week’s updates bring a smarter way to receive inventory with our new Per-Item Scan Flow, plus a handful of speed, reporting, and integration improvements. We’ve also got projects in the works like a USPS integration and a refreshed client settings page.

Feature Spotlight

Receiving Scan Flow

A more accurate, streamlined way to receive inventory—one item at a time.

  • Per-Item Scanning: Scan one item at a time for a focused workflow.
  • Full Item View: Once scanned, see a dedicated page with that item’s locations, lots, and inbound shipment history.
  • Location Selection: Easily choose which warehouse locations to receive the item into.
  • Lot Visibility: View and confirm lot details directly during receiving.
  • Inventory History: See inbound shipment history for the scanned item in real time.
  • Increment by Item: Quickly add quantities per item with a clearer, streamlined process.
  • Barcode Enforcement: Alerts users if barcodes are missing; items without barcodes cannot be scanned in.
  • Optimized for Large Orders: Especially effective for apparel and other SKU-heavy orders, reducing errors and improving speed compared to bulk receiving.
